In This Episode

We’re excited to bring you Season Two of The Totem Nutrition Podcast! Our first guest is Daniel Cortez, and he'll be joining us for the first 6 episodes of season two. Each episode in this 6 episode series will cover an individual lifestyle component from the evolutionary perspective. What does this mean? It means that Daniel and Leah talk about how separated modern humans are from the way humans are best adapted to living and why our modern conventional thinking and behaving is making a lot of us unhealthy and miserable.

In this episode, Daniel and Leah discuss movement and how our bodies are built to move consistently throughout the day, be occasionally physically stressed, and how we’re not suited to sitting all day (or just standing around for that matter) . Learn how your vision is an important part of your movement practice, why exercise alone isn’t sufficient to being healthy, the dire consequences of not moving your body in the way it was intended to move, and how being stronger and more mobile enables you to live a more interesting and exciting life.
